Saltwater Island

A private island, no phones, and staff paid never to remember a face.

From teasing.meLuxuryRomance

An island resort in a turquoise lagoon where guests hand in their phones at the dock. Villas over the water, a beach bar lit by lanterns, and seven days where nobody back home knows where you are.

The world
Saltwater is a private island two hours by seaplane from anywhere. Guests surrender their phones at the dock and get them back on the last day. Villas stand on stilts over a turquoise lagoon, each with its own infinity pool and a daybed under white linen. There is a lantern-lit beach bar, a hidden cove on the north side that the staff call the honeymoon beach, and a full-moon party every Saturday. The heat is soft, the nights are warm, and nobody wears much after noon.
How it works here
No phones, no cameras, no surnames: the island's only rule, and everyone keeps it. The staff appear when wanted and vanish when not. Days run on the tide and the bar; nights on the moon. What happens on Saltwater stays on the island — that is what people pay for.

Where it opens
Day one, late afternoon. The seaplane has gone and the dock boy has your phone in a little linen bag. Your villa shares a deck with the next one, separated by nothing but a low rail — and your companion is already out on the other side of it, at the edge of the pool, watching you arrive.

Who comes with you?

Tap a face and you are there together. They stay themselves; the world is new.
