Privacy Policy

This policy explains what teasing.me collects, why, how we protect it, and the control you have. We built the product so that the sensitive data an adult service handles is minimized, separated, and never handed to advertisers.

What we collect

• Account & waitlist: your email address, and (for accounts) a hashed password.
• Age-verification reference: a pass/fail token from our provider — never your ID or biometrics.
• Conversation content: the messages, companions, and memories you create, so the product can remember you across sessions.
• Behavioural analytics: first-party, self-hosted usage events (pages, funnel steps, feature use) to improve the product.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: a hashed IP for abuse prevention, plus basic device/browser info.

No third-party tracking

We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracker on signed-in pages. Analytics are first-party and self-hosted. We never sell your data, and we never share your activity with an ad network.

Sensitive (special-category) data

Conversations on an adult service can reveal data about your sex life or sexual orientation, which is “special category” data under the GDPR (Article 9). We process it only with your explicit consent and only to run the service you asked for. You can withdraw consent and delete this data at any time.

How we use your data

• To run the service and give your companion persistent memory of your conversations.
• To bill you, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the service secure.
• To understand and improve the product through aggregate, behavioural analytics.
• To train and improve our models only where you have opted in; you can opt out without losing access.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Depending on the processing: performance of our contract with you (running the service), your consent (special-category conversation data and any model training), our legitimate interests (security and product improvement), and legal obligation (age and tax rules).

Who we share with

Only the processors required to run the service — our payment processor, our hosting and email providers, and our age-verification provider — each under contract and only for that purpose. We may disclose data where the law compels it, and we will always act on child-safety reports.

Security & retention

Data is access-controlled and encrypted in transit; sensitive content is stored separately from behavioural analytics. We keep data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after you close your account, except where we must retain limited records by law.

Your rights & the Memory panel

You can access, correct, export, and delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. The in-product Memory panel is the direct control surface: you can see exactly what your companion remembers about you and edit or delete any of it. To exercise any other right, email privacy@teasing.me.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site (your session and an anonymous analytics identifier). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Age

The service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete such accounts and data on discovery.
